COST
We do not require payment in advance. As we want our clients to satisfy themselves that our course meets their needs. There is no charge if participation is cancelled within 3 weeks of the start of the course. After that time, our invoice is payable in full and we ask that it be paid promptly.
COURSEWARE
Participants in an (Old Syllabus) course need to have their own copy of the old courseware published by SAIT / PanGlobal / Power Engineering Training Systems. We can obtain it for participants at a preferred rate of $332.50 plus PanGlobal's shipping & handling charge of $25.00 plus GST for a total of $382.53.
Participants in a ( New Syllabus ) course need to have their own copy of the new courseware published by PanGlobal/Power Engineering Training Systems. We can obtain it for participants at a preferred rate of $427.50 plus PanGlobal's shipping & handling charge of $33.00 plus GST for a total of $492.74.
These prices are effective until June 15 as PanGlobal have advised us that prices will rise approximately 10% at that time.
Payment at time of order is required.
APPLIED SCIENCES COURSE
Candidates often have difficulty jumping directly into courses that require calculation if they obtained their earlier qualification on the former Ontario system, or have not studied for sometime, or are weak in the applied sciences ( Mathematics, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electrical ).
Such candidates may wish to consider taking our 'Applied Sciences for Power Engineers' course which covers all the 4th & 3rd class material. They are expected to already have this knowledge and capability prior to attempting the National / SOPEEC 2nd Class level.
TRAINING OPTIONS
Guidance and Assistance for Self Study
This option has been specifically designed for individuals doing self study
and desiring assistance and guidance in their studies. The program is laid
out so that one module is completed every four months. The candidate:
- receives weekly study guides
- receives customized review guides
- may attend optional seminars held in a centralized location
- receives tutorial support thoughout the duration of the course
Additional Classroom Support
This option provides additional training to a group of candidates on company
premises or a nearby location on the more difficult topics involving calculations
such as thermodynamics, mechanics, code calculations and or electrotechnology.
The candidate completes the rest of the modules in the format described
above.
Classroom Training
This option provides training for all the required modules to a group of
candidates on company premises or a nearby location
