Original Sin -- the Sin of the World

John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

What did Jesus come to do?
He came to take away the sin of the world--He came to remove DEATH.

Revelation 1:18
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Where did this sin of the world come from and how is it dealt with?

  • God pronounced DEATH to Adam and prevented him from partaking of the Tree of Life.
  • Adamís off springs are in a fallen state and doomed to Die.
  • Jesus came to take away DEATH, the sin of the world, by becoming a sin sacrifice by shedding His blood on the cross. He was the perfect spotless Lamb.
  • Apostle Paul teaches salvation and how we change from DEATH to Life --Romans 6
  • We come full circle from Adamís fall to manís redemption with access once again to the Tree of Life.
  • Adam was a son of God and we can again be sonís of God. Adam was created and we are born into His family BIG difference. We grow we learn we are chastised we are rewarded. Adam could not learn by his mistakes--he had no way to make his wrongs right again. But we, through the gospel of salvation, can find redemption and many of us have do so, thanks to GOD GRACE.

    1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

The Old Testament Saints were trapped until Christ resurrected with them. Removing Death in this world and allowing mankind to return to everlasting life is why Jesus came to earth. What made Jesus the perfect sacrifice was His spotless sinless nature being conceived of the Holy Ghost.

For the rest of us which are born of Adam we are doomed to die -- we must be reborn into Christ through the regeneration by baptism into Jesus name being made alive by the quickening of the Holy Ghost.

There is no other way to return to Christ -- you must deal with the Death issue. Yes children are born DEAD the righteous before baptism are also born to die if they do not continue in the commandments. Everyone that is trying to get back to God must follow this path. Jesus said to follow Him--HOW? Through Death Burial and Resurrection --Baptism into His name.

    John 10:1
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

Jesus physically died for us and tasted death for us and this is what He did in our place. We do not automatically receive salvation by just believing or having faith as He clearly said to follow Him and He commanded baptized be preach in all nations.

The nature we are born with is death, the original sin is death. Sin for mankind is a constant struggle and choosing to do right is difficult at times. We are born a mixture of good and evil in different proportion for each individual. Yes we have a choice and we can even pray when temptation comes our way. Apostle Paul had this struggle as well.

    Romans 7:21
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
